Space.com published Space News, a publication for space professionals and hobbyists.  Founded by CNN’s Lou Dobbs, the company’s investors encouraged it to diversify beyond its narrow niche, and to meet the needs of a broader science and technology community.  Idiom was hired to create a new name that would meet this need.  The project’s primary communication objective was to create a name that would “inspire curious people.”  We are proud of the way that our name Imaginova accomplishes this lofty goal by elegantly combining “imagination,” “innovation” and “nova”—a star that suddenly becomes much brighter.  Like all of Idiom’s company names, it was registerable as both a trademark and .com URL.
